If you cannot afford it you can follow the below method to download larger files. However, it has some drawbacks.

There is another torrent downloading service: filestream.me, which provides you 10 GB of storage and 5 GB of largest single torrent file size in free membership. However it has a drawback, it doesn’t give resumable downloads. Then also you can download torrents if you are sure of your internet connection. Just follow the steps below:
  1. Open filestream.me and make a free account.
  2. After that login to your filestream account, you will see the ‘Members Page’ similar to the image below:

  7. Then it will start caching your torrent file. It may take some time, depending on the size of your torrent file.
  8. When caching will be completed you can download the torrent file by clicking on the download icon as shown in the first image.
  9. After that a pop-up will open similar to the below image:

  11. Click on the zip icon to zip the file and download with IDM.
  12. Your download will start automatically.

How can you download torrent files more than 5 GB with filestream.me?

Filestream will not allow to download file more than 5 GB at once, but we can download larger files in parts e.g. 5 GB and 4 GB. We all know, most of the torrent files contain more than one file. Then its size also is sometimes divided between different files. Filestream allows you to download selected files from the torrent if the whole torrent is more than 5 GB. Then you can download the larger torrents in parts.

N.B. You should not forget that Filestream doesn’t give you resumable downloads. However, you can get resumable downloads of you can download or transfer the file from Filestream directly to your Cloud Network, such as Dropbox, Google Drive etc.

Enjoy downloading torrents!

    1. The plans of filestreame.me keep changing so there may be a decrease in file size for free users. Please check their plans for recent information.
